A two-week adventure centering creativity and self-expression, this program will ground students in morning technique classes in contemporary and hip hop, followed by afternoons learning how to make dances and grow our individual artistic voices. Students will engage with local arts and culture organizations, learn how to collaborate with professionals across disciplines to present their ideas, and interview current dance artists in the field internationally to hear about their work and their connection to their communities. The program will culminate in a live performance sharing our experience. 

Rising 4th graders and older are eligible to register.

Classes run weekdays from July 6 - 17 from 9am to 3pm.

Groundwork Dance! is presented in association with Orpheum Dance Program.

Fee: $550 ($515 + $35 non-refundable registration fee)
